Yali HPP
The project is located on the Sesan river, in the central part of Vietnam, and is designed for power supply to Central and Southern regions of Vietnam.

Main Structures of Yali HPP include:

  • dam on the Sesan river
  • construction and flood spillways;
  • main structures, water intake, tunnels, powerhouse, diversion canal;
  • outdoor switchyard.

Ukrhydroproject has elaborated design of the gated bays of the flood and construction water spillways.

Main parameters of the project:


total reservoir storage 1.037 km3
max discharge through the structures 13827 m3/s
max static head 190 m
HPP installed capacity 720 MW
average annual output 3650 mln kW h

Seismicity of the area is 7.
