The project is located on the Dnieper river upstream Kyiv, near Vyshgorod, Ukraine. The project is designed for power supply, river navigation, and fish-breeding.

It includes:

  • HPP combined with overflow spillway;
  • navigation facilities;
  • earth dams;
  • protection dykes, right bank protection.

max discharge through the structures 14400 m3/s
max static head 12.0 m
HPP installed capacity 361.0 MW
average annual output 635 mln kW h
