Ukrhydroproject Ltd. (short name - UHP) started its activities in 1927 and since then it has become large engineering company specialising in the field of hydropower and water recourses development.

During the years of its activity Ukrhydroproject Ltd. has elaborated designs of hydropower plants (of capacity up to 900 MW), small hydropower plants (up to 30 MW) and pumped storage hydropower plants of head from 70 to 500m and of capacity up to 3600MW in Ukraine and Moldova. Several large canals have been designed, for navigation, irrigation and water supply purposes of different cities and areas of Ukraine, Moldova, Byelorussia and Russia.

During last ten years Ukrhydroproject Ltd. participated as the Main Designer and Technical Coordinator and has implemented design works for the Thak Mo HPP, Yali HPP, Can Don HPP in Vietnam, for San-Rafael Hydro Scheme in Mexico, Main pumping station Nassyria in Iraq, for Hydro schemes Guaningue and Cetianhe in China.

Ukrhydroproject Ltd is a Sustaining Member of the International Hydropower Association (IHA) (Reg. No. IHA 0136/97), and is registered as a Consultant of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in DACON system (Reg. No. 2567).

Since the year 2003, the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2000 was introduced in the company; appropriate Certificate No. 69700 has been issued by Bureau Veritas.
