Dniester HPP-2

Dniester HPP-2 is a part of complex hydropower scheme on the Dniester River, which also includesDniester HPP-1 andDniester PSP (under construction). Dniester HPP-2 fulfills the  functions of bufferhydro scheme workinginthebasismodeatlined discharges.

Construction of Dniester HPP-2 started in 1982. The first unit of Dniester HPP-2 was commissioned in August 1999. Complete commissioning took place in December 2002.

Scope of work envisaged under the contracts:

  • Preparation of Feasibility Study Report;
  • Preparation of Detailed Project Report;
  • Elaboration of Detailed Design Engineering;
  • Design supervision over construction, and quality control.
